Be a part of this year's Maori Writers National Hui 2008. Join other writers and readers for a weekend of keynote presentations, panel discussions, workshops and entertainment.

Speakers include Katerina Mataira, James George, Hinemoana Baker and Apirana Taylor with special guest appearances by Albert Wendt and Charlotte Yates.

Registration:

Full $120.00
Concession $80.00

Registrations open Monday 1 September.

Registrations will be available through Ticketek from Monday 1 September to Monday 6 October. Please note, admission to each event after this date will be subject to availability. Service fees will apply.

Registration covers admission to
• 6 presentations
• 1 children’s production of Pukunui and his fiend Moata Moa
• 2 entertainment evenings
• 2 writing workshops
• Breakfast on Saturday and Sunday
• Morning and Afternoon tea on Saturday and Sunday

NB: Workshops, meals and refreshments are only offered to those who have paid full registration.

Tickets:

Tickets can be bought to individual events at $14.00 per person.

The hui is being organised by the two literature committees of Toi Maori Aotearoa, Te Ha and Nga Pou Kaituhi Maori. The Maori Writers National Hui receives major funding from Te Waka Toi, the Maori Arts Board of Creative New Zealand.
