Ngāti Toa Rangatira 

Amiria Salzmann has worked alongside her sister-in-law Karra Hanara (Ngāti Kahungunu and Cook Islands) for years making these earrings. They were originally designed by Amiria and her late father Tana Salzmann who was a local Ngāti Toa carver, artist, and master of many trades. Amiria and Karra continue to share their art in remembrance and celebration of Tana.
