at the 2022 Aotearoa Art Fair

Toi Māori Aotearoa is an independent Māori arts organisation that cares for the interest of Māori art and artists for the benefit of Māori people.

For the first time, Toi Māori Aotearoa is contributing to the Aotearoa Art Fair in Tāmaki Makaurau.

The Toi Māori Gallery presents new and recent work by top Māori carvers, weavers and clay artists, and features a live demonstration of tā moko by Te Uhi ā Mataora, to explore the many dimensions of whakairo.

Toi Māori Aotearoa is proud to represent the work of Māori artists who maintain the knowledge and integrity of Māori art, and ensure that Māori art remains an essential element of Māori culture.
