“I have been working in the Film/TV industry for over 10 years. I also spent some time working on The West End and also spent a Summer Season at Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre in London.

I have been primarily in the Costume Department but I have also spent time in several other departments such as Art Department, Production, (Co-ordinator, Assistant, runner),  Assistant Directors- (3rd A.D) and Locations, gathering momentum and in depth knowledge through varying experiences.

In 2015 I moved to London for two years to venture out of New Zealand and gain international experience and to expand on my current knowledge and skill set. In 2019 I had the opportunity to travel to Toronto, Canada to work on a NZ/ Canadian co-production film which also helped me gain more international experience. Since returning back to New Zealand I had been based in Auckland, and was also able to travel around Aotearoa to work as a Key Costume Standby on a number of productions.

I am currently based in Ōtaki and am very fortunate to be given this opportunity to work alongside the Māoriland whanau.

For me, I am excited to learn and add more knowledge to my kete that could lead into more opportunities for the future.”
