He Kupu Tīori – Issue 3, Aug 1999

He Kupu Tiori was the newsletter platform of Toi Māori Aotearoa, used to promote and celebrate Māori art and Māori artists – each magazine issue comprises a mix of news and features covering work of the different committees in Toi Māori Aotearoa.

This edition consists of committee updates and reflections, and a special piece from Jonathan Mane-Wheoki, renowned academic, sharing insights on Contemporary Māori art and the strategies necessary for Māori artists to establish a profile within the New Zealand art establishment.
