From the 12th to the 21st of January 2026, ‘Whiti: Whiti te rā!’, The 10th International Indigenous Artists Gathering will be held in Gisborne, Aotearoa (NZ).
All travel costs are the responsibility of attending artists.
Te Ātinga will cover accommodation & Food for the duration of the gathering.
Accommodation Venue: Te Poho o Rāwiri Marae.

Please note: this will be a shared room sleeping arrangement as is customary with Māori culture. If you prefer an alternative accommodation, you are welcome to organise that at your own cost.

In addition to the Gathering will be an exhibition of Artists work. The title to the exhibition will be “Whiti”. You are invited to submit a piece of work for this exhibition. Bring your completed work with you to the Gathering. Details of the exhibition and a request for information of your artwork will be sent to you closer to the date.
The Gathering is an exciting event that enables us to get together and create work. We ask you to please ensure that you can attend the full duration of the gathering as our guest and take advantage of sharing this experience together. Once we have your confirmed attendance a detailed information pack will be sent out.
