Te Tū a Te Toka – He Ieretanga nō ngā Tai e Whā

Te Tū a Te Toka (The Rocks Endure) is a collection of work from senior Māori writers written in te reo Māori. These are voices from a generation which grew up with the language. Contributions include fiction and non-fiction: one of only two poems in Māori by Hone Tuwhare, scary stories of past events, charming reminiscences of a rural life that has all but vanished, and timely reflections on the changing scene in the 21st century encompassing politics, the arts and social phenomena.
